Full description

To start the day we will pick you up at your hotel in Cusco at 05:00 am. We will then drive for 50 minutes to arrive in Chinchero.

From Chinchero we will begin our magnificent hike to the first pass. Here, you will have the opportunity to look around at the spectacular views. Next, we will continue our hike through these amazing valleys until we reach Queullacocha Lake. At the lake as you eat lunch, take time to marvel at the Puna grasslands, try to count as many native birds as you can see, and admire the impressive views of the Andes. Following lunch, we will continue to the most important place in the hike: Huchuy Qosco (Little Cusco) where you will have the opportunity to dig deeper into Inca architecture and learn about these religious buildings, store houses, and terraces.

Your tour guide will provide you with a lot more more information about the area and be sure to ask your guide any questions you may have. Afterwards, we will walk down towards Lamay village in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, where a minivan will be waiting to bring us back to Cusco. Your arrival time is approximately 5:30 pm.
